Police seek parole fugitive

CrimeStoppers, the Honolulu Police Department, and the Department of Public Safety request the public’s assistance in locating Leland Palea, who is the subject of a Parole Revocation Warrant after failing to continue drug treatment, failing to report to authorities, and threatening. Palea was last spotted on Tuesday operating a black Honda in Waimanalo. He has seven felony convictions for burglary, terroristic threatening, and auto theft. Believed to be armed and dangerous, Palea should not be approached. Instead, anyone with information should call 911 with a location and description.
