Visitor from England missing

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department request the public’s assistance in locating Hannah Whitehouse. Whitehouse, who was visiting Hawai`i from England with her family, was last seen at midnight on Sunday, March 21, 2004. She said she was going to get a cup of tea at McDonald’s in Waikiki and has not been seen since. Anyone with information may call HPD’s Mary Aragones directly at 529-3064.


This was Whitehouse’s first visit to Hawaii and she is unfamiliar with the area.

Several witnesses saw her with a “local” Caucasian male, described as 5’9″ tall, weighing about 230 lbs., with brown short curly hair, mustache and beard. They may have boarded a Route 20 bus at Fort DeRussy around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2004.

Missing Person Description:

  • Caucasian female, age 28
  • 5’9″, 130 lbs., slim build
  • Red hair, hazel eyes
  • Unknown clothing

UPDATE: Whitehouse returned to her Waikiki hotel at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 25. She was disheveled, disoriented, but in good health. Whitehouse and her family left for
England shortly thereafter.
